Elephant’s Eye, Hwange has 8 tented en-suite chalets with king/twin beds, hosting a maximum of 16 people at any given time. All chalets are spacious, private, and designed to offer the best views with maximum comfort and authentic African detail throughout. Each day at the lodge, there will be a guide on site to walk clients to and from communal areas and chalets, and see that individual needs are met at all times.
Activities at Elephant’s Eye, Hwange include game viewing, guided educational walks, bird watching, and night game drives, all with Zimbabwe professional guides; swimming or enjoying sundowners while relaxing near the natural ozone eco-pool. Elephant’s Eye, Hwange is located on a private concession (6000 ac) a mere 13 km away from the entrance to Hwange National Park. Hwange National Park is the largest Park in Zimbabwe, covering an area of approximately 14 650 square kilometers. Named after a local chief, Hwange is situated in the northwest corner of the country about one hour south of the Mighty Victoria Falls. Because of its close proximity to Victoria Falls, Hwange boasts an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna, and a plethora of African wildlife. There are over 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 bird species recorded in Hwange National Park. Specifically, the elephant population in Hwange is world famous, as it is one of the largest in the world.

How to get there:
Fly into Victoria Falls airport, Kasane airport or Livingstone airport and drive to Elephant’s Eye, Hwange. The distance is 175 km on good tar road from Victoria Falls (approx. 2 ½ hours);
alternatively you can fly with a charter flight to the Hwange airstrip.
