Manyatta Rock Camp is built amongst a monolithic granite outcrop unique to the Kruger region. In its accommodation alone, this lodge offers something special and has a distinctive five-star quality about it. Each unit has been carefully constructed so as not to disturb the natural rock formation around it. As our guest, you can look forward to a fun-filled stay with plenty of exciting activities and the sheer luxury of our rock chalets to complement your day.

Ten units have been tastefully constructed to blend in with the surrounding rock. Each unit is fully air-conditioned and includes a private lookout deck, hammock, mini bar and outdoor shower, overlooking the reserve’s waterholes and this vast expanse of nature at its best. For additional comfort, some units include a dressing-table area and a lounge with built-in fireplace.

Your hosts at Manyatta have taken great care in creating a true smorgasbord of wholesome South African cuisine with a touch of nouvelle flair and class. Enjoy this unique dining experience from the comfort of our dining room or wooden deck, against a backdrop of African splendour where ‘mood music’ takes the form of the occasional howl of a prowling jackal.

All meals offer a choice of red or white meat, although alternative cuisine can be arranged on request for vegetarians and halal guests. Our barbeques and meals served around a fire in the boma or bush have become our specialties.
