Fly-in Okavango Delta Experience

ITINERARY
Day 1:
Arrive at Maun International Airport. Do a 30-minute scenic flight from Maun over the delta and drop off at Xakanaxa airstrip in the middle of Moremi Game Reserve. From the airstrip enjoy a 2-hour game drive with a Kgori vehicle and guide to Mboma Boat Station. On arriving at Mboma do a 2-hour mokoro (dug-out canoe)trip on the floodplains and lagoons. After returning to Mboma, board a motor boat for the transfer to a remote island in the heart of the delta with sundowners on the way. Overnight in a fully catered mobile camp on the island.
Day 2:
Full-day boat activities, including bird watching and exploring the channels and lagoons in the Delta. Overnight on the island again.
Day 3:
Motor boat transfer back to Mboma Boat Station (by 08:00). Game drive in with a Kgori guide and vehicle via the North Gate to Mankwe Bush Lodge, east of Moremi Game Reserve. Overnight at Mankwe Bush Lodge.
Day 4:
Early morning bush walk in Mankwe area. Relax at Mankwe around the pool and bar. Late afternoon and night game drive. Overnight at Mankwe.
Day 5:
After breakfast, Kgori vehicle and guide transfer clients to Maun International Airport (2 hours) for flight departure to destination. End of Safari.
