Accommodation at Mankwe Bush Lodge

Set amongst the african bush in a private concession within the Moremi Game Reserve, the luxury tented chalets of Mankwe Bush Lodge are surrounded by a canopy of indigenous mopani bush and Camelthorn Trees. The chalets offer excellent facilities while maintaining a rustic look and feel, and each unit has a bathroom en suite. Each chalet has also been cleverly positioned on an incline facing the setting sun, which makes sitting on your porch at dusk an ideal time to unwind.

There are seven elevated, luxury, tented chalets available, each of which sleeps two. Children are welcome, and two of the chalets are large enough to accommodate an extra bed for young children. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, which includes a warm shower and all commodities. A viewing platform on each chalet provides a beautiful setting from which to enjoy sunsets over the bush for as far as the eye can see.

The lodge caters three meals a day, which are carefully laid out and presented, ready for your consumption. Breakfast includes cereals and yoghurts as well as the option of a full English breakfast, which is cooked and served on the spot. Lunch is a full course meal and can be served is in near-perfect bush settings for those otherwise occupied with game viewing. Dinner is a three-course meal and each evening brings with it a brand new culinary experience. Vegetarian meals are prepared on request.

Activities at Mankwe Bush Lodge

Mankwe Bush Lodge has all the activities that a true bush lodge should offer: scenic game drives, night drives, bush walks, mokoro (dugout-canoe) and boat trips, and even overnight stays on delta islands. Flying in to nearby Mbomo Island is one of the best ways to view the spectacular Okavango delta.
